Those we love don't go away, they walk beside us every day.  Unseen, unheard, but always near, still loved, still missed and very dear.

Prudence Jeanne Waters, 46, of Lincoln, September 8, 1974-January 3, 2021

Prudence Jeanne Waters, 46, of Lincoln, passed away January 3, 2021. She was born on September 8, 1974 to Eugene Waters and Mary Lou (Hoover) Waters. Prudence worked as an EFHP and caregiver for many years. She was a very hard worker and truly enjoyed taking care of people. She always had the ability to survive, go forward, and figure things out. She never quit no matter what life threw at her. She knew answers to everything. You could always count on her for her honesty and constructive criticism because she wanted the best for everybody. She constantly put others before her own needs, that’s just the way her heart was. She loved music, nature, spending time with her family and friends, and sitting outside on her free time with a nice cold beer. She was loved dearly by her daughters who never called her anything but “mommy” . When her first & only three grandchildren came all a few weeks apart, they became her everything. She was like the sun hitting a piece of gold when she was with them. She meant the world to a lot of us, more than I think she knew. She was so loved and looked up to by many. Her strength was admirable. She was amazing. Her soul was beautiful. Her smile could brighten up any dark day. Her laugh, her love, and presence will be greatly missed. I know she's smiling looking down on us all now saying,

“don’t worry about me”.

Prudence is survived by her daughters, Desirae Waters, Mariyah Waters, Kiara Clark, and Azia Waters, her niece, Hanan Waters, her nephew, Mohammed Waters, her father, Eugene, and siblings, Mike Lewis, Vicki Gamel, Karen Stanley, Debbie Gamel, Tim Gamel, Chris Gamel and Marla Nelson.

Preceded in death by her mother, Mary Lou, sister, Gina Waters, brother, Bill Gamel, and nephew, Douglas Androy .
