Lewis D. Morris , 85, of Lincoln, passed away February 13, 2016. Born November 6, 1930 in Lincoln to Ernest and May (Beeman) Morris. Past Concessionary Business Owner. Honorably Discharged as Sargent with the United States Marine Corps. He was engaged in the Battle of the Chosin Reservoir, where one of few to survive.

Family members include wife of 56 years, Linda; son, Wade Morris, both of Lincoln; daughter Wendy Iodence and son-in-law Kerry Barth; grandchildren, Brittney (Christopher) Norton and Brandon Iodence; great-grandchild, Madelyn Norton  all of Denver, CO.  Preceded in death by parents, son Ward and brother Gilbert. Funeral Service: 1:00 p.m. Thursday (2-18-16) Metcalf Funeral Chapel, 245 N. 27th Street. Visitation: 6-8 p.m. Wednesday with family present during this time at the Funeral Home.
