Connie "C.J." Remington, 69, of Lincoln, passed away peacefully on March 24, 2018. She was born December 23, 1948 in Omaha, NE to Gene and Cecilia (Bolus) Sherman.  C.J.   had an unforgettable personality and smile.  She was an avid Husker football fan. Many football Saturday's you could find her yelling at the TV, rooting them on. She also enjoyed watching Nascar and cheering on Dale Earnhardt, Jr. 

She is survived by her daughters, Deb (Miles) Davis, Nicki (Jason) Wenzl; Grandkids, Chase and Madison Davis; Sister, Georgia Haughland; Brother, Gary (Sue) Ward; Nieces and Nephews, Nick Cahow, Jennifer Ferson, Dave Ward and Pat Ward. 

She is preceded in death by her beloved fur babies, Harley and Maggie; Parents, Gene and Cecilia Sherman; Grandparents, George and Ellen Bolus. 

Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, March 29, 2018 from 6-7:30 at Metcalf Funeral Home, 245 N. 27th St., Lincoln, NE.Private family burial, cremation.
